Hi, guys! It's Mint here. I know you've long since given up on seeing a post here (I can hardly remember writing some of these, much less reading them). Since when was it, October?
So, naturally, you would not be expecting a comeback. But here it is, and it will be awesome. I hope.
The thing that gave me the inspiration to do something so unexpected (and awesome) is that something happened to me on Tuesday that was completely unexpected (but awesome). In fact, this week is pretty much full of that kind of stuff. I'm grateful. :-)
It happened like this: Olivia randomly texted to ask if I could go see a movie with her. Even though it was at lunch time (lunch is important in my family. Because, food), my mom let me go.
So I go to her house and we randomly happened to discover that our other friend Kasandra was going too, so we picked her up. Then we randomly discovered that the people who had invited us were seeing something else, so we watched a movie that would end before Olivia's orthodontist appointment... which meant that by the time it ended, I wasn't too late to see Pepper's text: "Wait, which theater are you in?!"
I had told her about the movie... and it turns out that was the best thing I did that day, because Pepper had a dentist appointment right next to the theater I was at! So, something completely unexpected happened: I got to see Pepper!
And sure, it was only for a couple minutes, and not nearly enough time to catch up, but it's the fact that counts. The fact that two best friends can bump into each other on an ordinary Tuesday even if one of them lives on the other side of the lake.
It was awesome.
